Raton, New Mexico (1/11, 2023)
Consistent with the decision made by the New Mexico State Ethics Commission and pending investigations by the New Mexico State Auditor and New Mexico Attorney General, the Colfax County Commission filed its civil action against Roadrunner Health Services, LLC, and a former County Manager, Mary Lou Kern to seek damages based on breach of contract, negligence, violation of the New Mexico Unfair Practices Act and Fraud as well as indemnifications on December 29, 2022. The Complaint was filed by the independent third-party law firm, Mason & Isaacson, P.A. contracted by the County. The Colfax County Commission hereby reiterates that it shall continue to seek justice and recover damages made by Roadrunner Health Services and Ms. Kern and to uphold the public trust.
