Project Description: Additions and renovations to current Vigil-Maldonado Detention Center to bring the building up to code and house more inmates.

Project Start Date: September 19, 2016
Estimated Project Finish: October 31, 2016
Project Description: Paving of Long Road (County Road A42) between Turner Road and Cherokee Hills Road, and paving of South Fork Road (County Road A75) from Allen’s Alley to the Cul-De-Sac. Blading and reshaping will be performed on the subgrade of each road, followed by the application of 3-inches of base course material and hot mix asphalt pavement of varying thickness.
Progress Bullets:
- Blading and reshaping of the existing subgrade was completed for Long Road on September 30th, 2016.
- Base course material application for Long Road began on October 3rd and was completed on October 4th, 2016.
- Hot mix asphalt paving began for Long Road on October 7th and was completed on October 8th, 2016.
- Blading and reshaping is planned begin and finish on South Fork Road the week of October 17th, 2016.
