Mission
The Colfax County Probate Court is established under Article VI of the State Constitution. New Mexico County Probate Courts may admit original wills to informal probates, informally appoint a personal representative, appoint a special administrator in an informal proceeding and appoint a successor personal representative, when the original personal representative dies or resigns.
