County Probate Judge's Mission
The Colfax County Probate Court is established under Article VI of the State Constitution as a Court of Record and shall have jurisdiction to determine heirship with respect to real property in all proceedings for the administration of decedents' estates.

The Probate Judge is able to perform weddings at the Probate Judge's Office or within Colfax County. Office hours are Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10:00AM to 12:00PM. Please call for an appointment.
(A 37 Page packet of forms and instructions is available only by visiting the office of the Probate Judge and for a fee of $5.00. There is also a filing fee of $30.00 once completed.)
